My Actifit Report Card: April 14 2019 - The sound of melting snow and the aroma of grilling
You think I’m kidding, but I’m not. The snow is melting and that means Minnesotans get outside and fire up the grill!
I took a long walk this afternoon and everywhere there is the sound of dripping water from snow melting on rooftops, the sound of running water as the snow melt runs down roadsides and into drainage systems. And there is the smell of meat grilling on the barbies!
It was a touch treacherous walking, as there is a lot of snow still in the streets and a lot of puddles and mud everywhere!
Are you sure the snow is finally over?😂😂😂 Mother nature could throw in another snowing day you might be surprised 🤣🤣🤣. Very high count I must say. The weather these days is not predictable again.

I hope it’s over! My kids play sports and the feels have to dry out before they can practice. It happens every year. The first game comes and it’s basically a practice since they haven’t been able to play yet!

So Spring comes quite late in Minnesota? About what time do you have trees blooming?

Yes it comes very late here, @manoldonchev. We often have snow in April, and it is not safe to plant until May because we can still get frost. This area is rather flat. We do not have mountains. And I miss them!

Oh, I thought different. And I'm asking quite googleble questions, it seems. I just saw highest point being Eagle Mountain 700+ meters only. I remember the Timberwolves basketball team so I always associated it with lots of forests. Which I saw is true and it kind of shows on your pictures.
Yes, the “mountains” are really just big hills! 😆

In South Africa we call the grill a braai and the fires are also lit at any excuse. But never in snow as we don't have snow over here.
