I love that you walk your son to school. I love walking places with destination so much better than just walking for the sake of walking!! And we, as writers, need to do the actifit to keep body and mind together LOL
I find it difficult to walk just for the sake of it. My partner can do it!! But I need a destination, a reason, something, or I feel... that I don't belong out there? Haha.
Luckily, I live close enough to places to walk, but far enough away for it to be a decent walk - my son's school is 1.5km away (0.9miles) and the market is just a bit further! There and back in the morning, and there and back again in the afternoon. Perfect amount of steps! :D
(Until the weekend when I'm just plodding around the house. Might take to walking up and down the hallway, lol!)
I am the same way - maybe I grew up walking. We didn't have a car until I was a teenager and I get carsick very easily anyway. Still, when I am visiting my hometown, people just walk more. Here in the US, people drive to go somewhere 100 m away... ( I grew up in the decimal system LOL)
