My Actifit Report Card: March 5 2019

Hey Actifitters and Steemians,

I went for very early morning walk today, work for me today would be at the rabbit farm and it was really stressful I must say. We are removing the zinc base, washing them, reattaching them and now laying nylon sheets on them. We were not able to finish it and that should continue probably tomorrow or next, but based on work done so far we need 3 or 4 days of work to complete it.

My 10 years old son thought me maths tricks later in the afternoon, I was thinking as a first degree holder I should know all about maths at their level but no no. He thought me how to multiple 11 with any 2 digit number easily. I am humbled by his teachers and thanked him for that. I wonder were I was in my days when such was taught? Was it even thought at all? Lol. See example below:

11 * 25

2 (2 + 5) 5

2 (7) 5

275

11 * 25 = 275

Now if the middle numbers produce 2 digit numbers, here is the solution.

11 * 88

88

8 (8 + 8) 8

8 (16) 8

(8 + 1) 6 8

9 6 8

11 * 88 = 968

You can try more numbers out they'll work out ok.

I went for a walk this evening and boy was the air hot. The heat in the afternoon was so much and the sun wasn't letting up by almost 6pm, you can imagine. I managed to reach the 10k mark before I got home.
