My Actifit Report Card: March 3 2019

in #actifit5 years ago

I played disc golf with my son today and we tried out the new discs that I got yesterday from the person that I returned a disc I found to. I really liked the new putter and midrange. I only threw the driver once but it seems really nice too.

The other disc was fun too but not really one I think I would use a lot expect perhaps for some type of specialty shot. It was soft enough to use to play catch with while warming up so that is nice.

My son really liked the midrange disc and wanted that if I didn't want it.

It was a bit windy and I took a chance and threw my favorite long distance driver into a left to right crosswind, with a slight headwind. I was going to throw a different more stable disc at first but then I wanted to get more distance on the throw. It went really far but turned and landed very close to the road (but not on the pavement.) I called it safe but my son called it out of bounds. I guess there is some dispute over whether the road or the edge of the grass is the boundary line. We really weren't keeping score so it didn't matter much either way.

I didn't take any pictures today but here's another photo I took at a recent walk at a nature preserve. I heard this little bird noise and glanced up and saw a hummingbird. I didn't think I would get a picture before the bird flew away but I got the camera out fast enough to get a photo.

You can't see the bird well but it is in the middle of the picture. I like the way the clouds and tree branches looked too.

I wonder what it would be like to be a bird that small.

First visit your blog your all post is awesome @lightsplasher

Good time spending time with your family. It's good that your son is also playing the game, you have common interests and it's great

An excellent overview of the past day. Spend time with my son, what could be better. Thank you for sharing @lightsplasher

Great day in the fresh air. An interesting photo. I thought that caliber live only in very warm countries

These little hummingbirds seem to like to stay around here all the time. I would think that they would travel to warmer areas in the winter but there must be enough for them to eat.

I like that you and your son play disc golf together! How fun and he is competitive! In a fun way!

The tree, framed by those perfect MonochromeMonday clouds really showed off your little hummingbird! As a small person, I would have to say he probably loves his life and size!

Remember! Good things come in small packages!

!tip Edit: I spelled #MonochromeMonday wrong and corrected it, as you should too or it will never reach him. Sorry!

Thank you! It is wonderful to be able to share an activity like that. I bet you are right, the hummingbird probably loves things just as they are.

I agree! Can you imagine zipping in and out just like a high-speed sports car? Zoooom!!!

Those birds really do move fast for their size. Sometimes you can hear them flying around before you see them.

I didn't put the #monochromemonday tag on this one because there still is some color in the sky so I wasn't so sure it was a good fit. I do usually like to post something on that tag but I find it hard to even do one post per day.

Ha! I tagged it. :) I thought it looked monochrome. I am finding it hard to post, but, have pushed myself a bit. But, if I can't, I am not going to fuss. ;)

It is always a good fit. I am never a stickler lol!

I called it safe but my son called it out of bounds. I guess there is some dispute over whether the road or the edge of the grass is the boundary line. We really weren't keeping score so it didn't matter much either way.

You should have taken a photo and make a dpool post about it, let the decentralized community figure out if it was out of bounds or not xD JK JK

I wonder what it would be like to be a bird that small.

What I wonder is how aren't birds terrified of being so high up or sleepin on tree branches, imagine if they fall down mid sleep! Sleepwalking birds xD

Lol, too funny! 😁

Cool actifit step you achieved today

Excellent photography and very nice View.
100% Upvote and Resteemed.

@lightsplasher, That lone Bird is enjoying the beautiful art of clouds and the In-depth meaning of blue sky colour and in my opinion on that day you've had pleasant walking session. Enjoy and stay blessed.
