My Actifit Report Card: August 12 2019
I spent some time getting things stored and unloaded after camping and did some disc golfing with my son this evening. I got my new tern disc that I ordered but it came in yellow instead of the red that was pictured on the advertising. There was a note that came with it that said you had to pick a specific color if you want it. Go figure. :( There was no way to indicate a color preference for what I could see. Oh well, I guess yellow is a good enough color but I would have wanted red and I thought that is what I was ordering.
The new disc is pretty stable and it will take some time to get it seasoned in a bit so it flips up like the one I lost. The plastic has a different feel to and is not as grippy. That will change as it wears in so I'm actually really happy with the new disc.
The yellow color is harder to see on the grass around here right now but that will change once it starts raining more regularly again and things green up more. I actually like pink or red for finding discs easy.
Today I scored two over par for the nine basket game. The new disc went right into a tree on a basket where I typically would not be throwing a high speed driver but I wanted to test it out more. At least it did not get stuck there.

It is a very pretty area and we will be camping there again I'm sure. That's it for now - it is getting close to midnight and I need to post this before Actifit has a fit, lol.

It is good that you are making a good game in your disc golfing @lightsplasher I guess that red and orange is good disc golf color, even Neon colors just to make it easier for them to get spotted.
I like that stream, perfect for a hot afternoon dip.
It sure is fun to get out and do some disc golfing. I like the fact that it does not cost much and gives you exercise. Often it is cooler around here so I'm not usually in the mood to go for a dip in the stream but recently that has been appealing.
Oh!! I really get mad at myself when I order the wrong thing. Why didn't you just return it for the one that you really wanted?

If I saw it in the store I probably would not have got it, the plastic is a bit splayed (kind of like it was molded a bit cold or something). The color is okay I guess - I ended up with a bunch of yellow discs for some reason. Having to send it back and then wait for another disc is not worth the effort when you have something new and shiny in hand to play with, lol.
It does fly a lot more stable than the dog eaten older Tern disc I lost. I'm starting to get it to turn up a bit but it takes a lot of power and a good follow through. The plastic is getting more grippy too so I'm getting more used to it now.
