that tree has to go
The fitness part of the day was all about trees. Nooo!! Not climbing trees! I am not good at that at all.
We were cutting trees. And by we, I mean my friend Patrik. He likes climbing trees and ladders and doesn’t mind chainsaws too much.

When he uses a handsaw, branches seem to cut like they are made from butter. When I do it, they act like they are made from steel. What is up with that?
Tree trimming California style - shorts and flip flops
So, my part was pulling branches to fall in the right direction. And mostly, schlepping them out of the way.
Me - schlepping
Right now, it is pretty hard to get around in my yard. But they are out of the street and such.
Surprisingly, all that tree cutting did not result in mega amounts of steps but it did in a tired and sore body.
That means that I am headed for bed now
He does gear up for the chain saw work. I did get to wear the hardhat when I was holding the ladder and he was cutting above me

A few weeks ago someone was electrocuted do this and died. Please be careful. The tree even caught on fire.

The lines you see are cable and not carrying an electric charge. I would have called the power company if they were. they come out for free and trim trees which might get entangled. That is dangerous for sure.

I agree that this is not an exercise but you do end up with hand and body sore later on...
