My Ulog Style Actifit Report Card: March 15 2019
My dear friend
I was sweating.
My arms were shaking.
I had to sit down and rest for a while.
That hardly ever happens. Usually, I am go, go, go.
I feel like that number, that activity number should be 50,000.
@bluengel how do you do it?
This girl came over and kept me company while I was resting - late in the afternoon. She wasn't exactly invited, but there is no fence invented yet that keeps her out. That girl can jump!
Well, I didn’t get that many Actifit points, but I pulled at least that many weeds!
It is deeply satisfying when a Bermudagrass root comes out easily- all 4 feet of it.
The chickens were happy campers as I dumped load after load after load of greens and grubs into their yard.
Did my push-ups there too. Make sure to listen to Dan singing for us.
Pro tip: Invite at least one friend to pull weeds with you. Everything is better with a friend 😀
Here is my friend, hard at work. But we were not all about work! We had a delicious lunch that came to a great part fro the garden. The lettuce, the tomatoes, the pumpkin and greens (hard to see, they are under the eggs), and of course, the eggs.
Like my friend said. We feed weeds to the chicken and they give us eggs. What a deal.
As we were eating, I look over to my side and what do I see?
Miss BB had quietly made her way close to my plate. She knows better!!! No dogs on top of tables at my house - and garden. I let her think she won long enough to take a picture, then off she went.
The day ended with trying out a new Thai food restaurant in town. The only Thai food restaurant in town. My daughter and family invited me to go with them. The food was good and the company was better!
