My Actimall Report Card: August 9 2019
So today, the wife had a lunch date with a close friend at a local mall at which there also happened to be a traditional style 'Temple Fair' on. Think food and the real in a temple, 'Temple Fair' I posted about a few months ago. I will post about the indoor not in a temple, 'Temple Fair' at the weekend so the picture is just a taster of what's to come.
The point is, I wandered around the mall looking at the stuff I could buy if I was a shopaholic and had money, had a coffee or two and added to my usual daily meanderings managed to rack up 11000 steps!
So much for sweating it out in sun and rain, light and dark at my local fitness park!
There you have 11k + steps completed in air-conditioned consumerist utopia.....and a fake 'Temple Fair'!

Come to Mallaysia and experience 3 or 4 of earths biggest shopping centres all within 10km of one another... It always takes me back to my mallrat early teenage years when I knew everything and had a chip in my shoulder..
Well, I guess some things never change ! 😂

Good afternoon young man! We never really had that mallrat thing when I was a teen. Big mall kind of just started being a thing in the 80s I guess. Normally we were sat on a roadside bench smoking and sharing a can of pale ale nicked from one of our parents lol...
Now I replaced the bench for the step outside a 7/11 and the shit beer for shit coffee....still on the Marlboros though. I like continuity in life ;-)

The wheel of life! Us young punks didn't even know what a pale ale was until the 2000s and by 2010 it was officially adopted as the only beer a hipster could drink..
Ahh thev7E stoop and chang sounds alright by me! I'm 2 weeks off the brew though and going to see if I can get upstairs without being fatigued, who knows in a month I might be making @purepinay fitness posts.. Doubtful!
Shit coffee is here to stay though so cheers to continuity.. Reds? That's a stout fag to puff on.. Did I say it right? 🙃

You did hahaha Yes, they were full on Reds, now they're just plain boxes in UK.....the government only brought this fag pack labelling law to stop people like me taking the piss of students on their kiddie starter cigs..ie Lights !
Pale Ale in the 80s was the cheapest of the cheap, also beloved by students and kids, It was the true definition of cat piss...I didnt even realise it was a big thing again until recently. I don't and never have been a big drinker though. Here i maybe do one or two a week that's all, usually during the football season on a Saturday night. Close season I barely touch beer. You can see a theme here Like the music having a time and a place, so does a beer for me!
change 'puff' for 'drag' You take a 'drag' on a 'fag' . Puff or poof is slang for gay ...
Giz a drag on yer fag, we're going twosies.....when we had to share one because we had no money!
