Secret objects 'A'

Today walk for @tarc I wish them success with their mission.

I woke up early because a friend of mine organizes a trip to some old tunnel. No one knows where we are going but sound very intriguing. We went with cars to the nearest point.

Put our rubber boots and went on.

We pass near a small river on the old Roman road, which is a common sight in our lands.

Weather was cold and most of the puddles were frozen. We where 6 people and two cute dogs breed Basenji.

We walked about 6 km and suddenly I saw something like a fortress. This was the tunnel entrance looks so epic like from some movie.

Secret object A or the unspoiled Black Sea railway Varna - Bourgas

At the beginning of the 50s, the government proceeded to the construction of a railway route connecting the 2 biggest Black Sea towns of Varna and Bourgas. The transport project was conceived as part of a strategic rail-highway starting from Odessa (today's Ukrainian) to Malko Tarnovo.

Now it's a tourist attraction which is very close to the biggest Black Sea resort in Bulgaria - Sunny Beach.

Even with the entrance to the tunnel, heat and moisture were felt. The sun rays were like a picture of a fairy tale (look the first photo).

The tunnel is 600 meters long. The first 100 meters were flooded with 30 cm but we were using rubber boots and that was not a problem.

It's abandoned from a long time and bats have made it home.

The old Communist slogans still stand on the walls.

We reached the end of the tunnel that ended with a large wall of shale rocks.

We took some pictures and went back.

I liked back way more because of glowing light coming from the entrance. I was the last one to shoot the silhouettes of my friends coming out.

One of my friends stays outside with the dogs because he is not a fan of durty dark places. He was made a fire prepare the food and drinks. We had a great picnic. And when the sun began to set we went home.
