My Actifit Report Card: March 7 2019
After yesterday’s trip to Phillip Island, I was pretty knackered. A lot of guests to drop off adds the time it takes to get back home.
I woke up feeling really stiff. At first I thought I may be coming down with something, but after I got up and moving I realised the stiffness in my back was more to being exposed to wind and cold.
In TCM it’s said that wind-cold (an external pathogenic factor) lodges itself in the channels of the muscles and creates the sensation of stiffness and soreness. Getting moving, massage, or acupuncture can clear this quickly. If it was the start of the ’flu, these interventions wouldn’t do anything.
Colby and I didn’t get to go for our walk, which is a pity as I felt I could really do with it. We had to do a number of ‘admin’ tasks.
However once I sat down after dinner to check out what I’d done for the day, I was pleasantly surprised to see I’d done just under 3km of walking (over 5000 steps).
I think Colby wants to go see some live music tonight. I’m not sure I’m up to it, I’d love an early night. I have the next three days off: yay!
In other news, Colby’s health is definitely on the up!! So we’re obviously doing something right!
