My Actifit Report Card: October 31 2018

I've been a stay at home mom since July this year and quite honestly, I didn't think I can make it this far. On the first month, I felt like I could lose my mind. Around August, I was feeling crazy and I've been calling my sister asking her to come by to help me. But now that I'm more than four months in the job, I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Last year I thought I would never be able to do any sort of physical activity. And I have tried but all attempts are just futile. I couldn't finish a routine. It's because this little one kept on tugging on my shirt asking for everything. Of course I would stop everything I'm doing oncr I see her do the puppy eyes. She's learned that trick! She knows how to torture me with cuteness.

But that's okay with me. She's so little now but soon enough, and I'm actually seeing it happen, she's growing. Soon she'll not bug me anymore with her games that only she could understand. Soon she will have other things to do. So right now, I am just enjoying my workout routine. Dancing to the tune of The wheels on the bus or playing hide and seek with her, or just fooling around.

Whenever I hear her giggle and laugh, Edwin McCain's song would play in my head.

These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive
These are the moments I'll remember all my life
I found all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more

I am no longer updated with the latest trends because I am too pre-occupied with this tiny little kid. But that's alright. I still have far too many accomplishments. I have memorized almost all nursery rhymes and I am learning new ones.

And for these moments, I do thank God that I'm alive because I have all I've been waiting for. And indeed, I could not ask for more.
