My Actifit Report Card: November 2 2018

And today we remember all our departed loved ones. It has been a tradition to a lot of families head on to the cemetery to pay a visit to their loved ones' graves. Families do this to gather everyone together, including those that has passed on.

But this also means traffic will be heavy especially the routes heading to memorial parks. And I was not wrong. We had to reroute to a longer commute because the roads were impassable. And we had to take a slightly long walk. But it was all fine with me. Even my two year old daughter is cool with the walking. We also opted to take a walk back home. I was still cool with it because that means higher activity count for me again!

People were all complaining about how noisy amd congested the cemetery was today. But my husband's uncle said something that could have hit them in the face if they heard it. He said that he doesn't feel the need to come to the memorial park on All Souls' day since he's always there almost on a weekly basis.

And it's true. People shouldn't need a holiday to pay a visit to their loved ones, living or dead. Life - work, school, projects, all those other stuff - does keeps us busy but we all should keep in mind that we should prioritize what is important. And that's our family. After all, we do the things we do - that makes us super busy - because of them.

Sometimes all we need to do is to spare a few minutes of our time just so we could pay a visit. There's no need to wait for a special reason for us to visit our loved ones. They are the special reason.

Maybe if we all had that in mind, then it wouldn't be that overcrowded in most memorial parks today. Well, at least I got to take a long walk with my husband and my daughter.
