Cycling and snow
Sundays race from one activity to the next. Winter returned this weekend dumping several inches of snow. It's days like this I appreciate my indoor cycle all the more. I rode 15 miles and later walked a few miles with my son. It made a chilly day better by exercising away from the slick roads!
I wrote a few lines thinking about winter and recharge time.
Dusk casts paths
Moonstars fire
And chase;
Shadows bend
Beyond broken limbs,
Winter broke away;
If snowflakes mask
What I cannot say;
Will you hear
What fear holds away?
