My Actifit Report Card: April 14 2019 /// Out in Nature
Today we went out to explore! Didn't really have a plan this morning of where to go, so I opened my map and started looking around nearby to see if there were any interesting places to check out.
Well, I stumbled upon the Carrizo Plain National Monument here in California. I've never heard of the place before, so off we went!
It took about an hours drive to get to the very large park, and there were incredibly beautiful views all around everywhere in the park.
It was also a beautiful warm sunny day, with a nice breeze blowing all day long out on the plain.
It took about two more hours of driving just to get through the whole park, but that was with plenty of stops along the way to get out of the car, admire the views and take pictures and videos.
There was a hiking trial at the far end of the park which was nice because it was an easy climb up the hills which offered a grand view of the whole valley area.
After the hike it was an easy drive back home the "back way" and it ended up being just a big circle drive that took the whole afternoon.
After getting back home I went to the gym to cool off in the pool because I got some sun on my arms and legs and was feeling a little cooked. I got in the hot tub too and that was nice and relaxing.
