목욕탕에 갔다. 2주만에 가는 거다. 건널목을 건너려고 서있는데 옆에 붕어빵을 굽는 곳에서 한 사람이 다가와 붕어빵이 들어있는 봉지를 우리에게 건넨다. 붕어빵 봉지에 교회 이름이 써있다. 붕어빵을 한입 먹었다. 달달하다. 점심밥도 먹은지 얼마 안되었는데 배가 부르다. 몸무게가 많이 나오겠다. 목욕을 하고 나면 꼭 몸무게를 잰다. 이번에는 몸무게가 줄지 않았다.
집에 들어오면 고양이들이 우루루 도망간다. 세 마리다. 두 마리는 어린 녀석인데 하루하루 크는 것이 보인다. 현관 문 앞 화단 한쪽이 푹 꺼져서 평평해졌다. 어떤 놈이 여기에 잠자리를 만들었다. 우리집 안마당이 그리 편안한가.
