Had a more than busy week?

Maybe you stepped up your game and hit the gym this week!

And to top it off you set out to take on more work at work...

Could it be that you carved out time by cutting from the sleep you normally get?

Keeping your eyes open with loothpicks after lunch?

Wishing upon a star for even a 1 second nap?

Well... Today's the day you listen to your body!

You say, "Yes!" to you and your health!

Go to bed 1 hour early! Get out of jail free! Collect 60 more minuets of sleep!

Tomorrow morning your body, mind, and SPIRIT will be thanking you!


Sleep is imperative to all aspects of health and well-being but we often don't prioritize it the way we should. And here's the thing... We can always get at least 1 extra hour of sleep from time to time! So why not make today the day?

Sleep deprivation doesn't help when we need to perform at our very best. In a world that's always on sleep is becoming more than a buzz word. Sawing logs is essential despite what all of our electronic gadgets may think.

You want to live your dreams right?! Well sometimes the best way to do that is shut it all down, turn the cell phone off, dim the lights, and hit the hay!

See you bright and early you all!

It's time for me to look at the backs of my eyelids!

HOW TO GET AN #AUTOMATICWIN

STEP 1

Select your activity:

STEP 2

Get 10,000 steps before 10am.

STEP 3

Take a screen shot of your @Actifit step count for proof of an #AutomaticWin.

STEP 4

At the end of the day post your proof of activity to the Steem blockchain with the @Actifit app as you normally would.

STEP 5

Include (along with the #Actifit hashtag) the #AutomaticWin hashtag and the screen capture proof you took when you got your 10,000 steps before 10am to your end of day post using the @Actifit app.
NOTE: You may also include the #AdventureWalk, #AdventureRun, or @AdventureClimb hashtags depending on what primary activity you did to get your #AutomaticWin! We will use this information to enhance the step statistics we publish during the course of any currently running Step Challenges! It should be noted that if you use more than one of the above hashtags the first and primary one will be utilized to generate statistics.


Congratulations! You have achieved an #AutomaticWin! Being intentional with your health means the rest of your day is now officially the bonus round! How sweet is that?! The more #AutomaticWin’s around the world the better all around so make sure you tell your friends all about how you made it happen this morning!

I think we all could use an extra hour if sleep! Way to bring that to light. So many people overlook the simple things and can't figure out why they quit making gains.

Thank you for this comment @pcourtnier! I'm feeling a lot more energy this week! I think it's because I focused on the basics and got that extra sleep! Your right you know... If the basics go to the wayside pretty soon the results start to plateau.

True sleep is very important. And when I don’t get enough sleep 😴 I try hard to take a nap. My napping usually last 30 minutes to an hour and a half. And seems to work for me.

Not just one hour of sleep @salimbur. "One EXTRA hour of sleep"! I wouldn't do well with only 1 hour of sleep... That brings me back to those university days... Sleep was overrated back then... But certainly not now! lol! :D
