It is important to give flexibility to projects because of the relatively unknown future and complexity of block-based systems. It is almost impossible to know what a system might be in months or even years, so it is important to have a sound language like Haskell.
Their aim is to use block-chain technology, especially in developing countries where banking systems are expensive.
