With a simple camera Kodak Instamatic 100 (made in the '60s) I went to Pyongyang (capital of North Korea) to study philosophy at the kind invitation of leader Kim Il-sung. Some of the photos were captured by the camera. It was in 1983 and I was 36 years old. I finished those studies in 1988. It was a great rarity in the city, to see my person. I was one of the first Latin Americans to visit that legendary country. The photo that appears above appears (to the right) in front of the Palace of Popular Culture of the named city. Year 1983.

Con una sencilla cámara Kodak Instamatic 100 (fabricada en los años '60) me fui a Pyongyang (capital de Corea del Norte) a estudiar filosofía atendiendo una amable invitación del líder Kim Il-sung. Algunas de las fotos fueron captadas por dicha cámara. Fue en 1983 y tenía yo 36 años. Culminé esos estudios en 1988. Era una gran rareza en la ciudad, ver a mi persona. Fui uno de los primeros latinoamericanos que visitó ese legendario país. La foto que aparece arriba aparezco (a la derecha) frente al Palacio de Cultura Popular de la nombrada ciudad. Año 1983.
