Bumblebee Macrophotography - #adsactly #wildanimalcontest - Nikon D5300
I have recently been out and bought some bee friendly flowers for my garden as the hot weather has grounded so many bumblebees in the UK. We are just not used to this weather!
Here is my entry to the #wildanimalcontest with a Queen Bumblebee that I saved in the garden with sugar water and new bee friendly flowers...

I named her Bertie, but that was before I researched bees and realised she is actually a queen lol
This image is my own taken with my Nikon D5300 using my 90mm Macro Lens.

She had a yellow bottom! lol Apparently the queens have yellow bums whilst the worker bee have white bums! Who knew! :D
