Growing old isn't as easy as growing up

Right from when we were kids, we have always been looking forward to the future. We sometimes imagine how we'll look, if handsome or beautiful even at old age, the kind of people we will become, the kind of achievements we will have attained, the kind of friends that will still be with us. Being absent-minded were already setting our expectations for ourselves cause everything now looks possible to us, our parents and other good neighbors do tell that

You can achieve anything that you set your mind to do.

irrespective of the recession of the country.

Growing old to some extent is like a freedom, old people do advice the young ones to enjoy every bit of their youth age, take every advantage and freedom to do what we want before we get old like them. But there is a difference of ''growing old'' and ''growing up'' When great opportunities come to us at tender age and we ignore them, we are definitely just growing old, and on the other hand when we grasp every opportunity that life throws at us, we undoubtedly growing up! No doubts, advantage comes along with age , and also comes with responsibility. At times we don't notice this until we grow up.

Growing old doesn't mean growing up

There is a popular saying, ''there is time for everything'' There is simply no shortcut to success, life is like a ladder, we go up one step at a time, slow and steady.

We are always restricted to somethings when we were much younger, the adults seems to have all the freedom they want back then. Our restrictions was based on our present age, some of them include, no cellphones, don't go outside, no parties and all that. There is no exact principle backing this, but social norms dictate how old you must be for certain practices.

Growing old is easy, but growing up is painful

Just like i stated earlier, growing old and growing up comes with different responsibilities. To be the best of your self, you need to face the hardness of life, get a lot of experience from people and the environment you find yourself. Allow this experience to make you clever, wiser, smarter, proactive and stronger. There is no doubt, things will frequently blindside you in one way or the other, so therefore learn to adapt anything life throws at you. Feel free to open your mind, always crave for more knowledge. One of the famous rich mogul said.

The moment you stop learning, is the moment you stop growing.
