Songs of the Desert, the Storm and the Sea. #JAMcanciones

New JAM event for the creation of narrative games. Songs of the Desert, the Storm and the Sea , is a JAM that will run throughout the month of June. It consists of the following: 1) Choose one of your favorite songs whose themes are border stories (real or imaginary), adventures in exotic lands, whether in the west, the tropics, the desert, or seafaring stories. 2) Join the JAM at any time. 3) Create a narrative game , book game, text adventure, graphic adventure, etc., inspired by the song. 4) Enjoy!

I created this jam because I had a project for a long time about creating a set of adventures based on the songs of Radio Futura . As it is evident that I will never get to it, and the idea took years in the pipeline, the other day, listening Sirena Varada of Heroes of Silence , the inspiration returned and I had an epiphany: that others make the games for me. The seed for the JAM was planted. In the end I have about three games in my head about Radio Futura songs, of which I promise to make one at least.

The bases of the JAM are very basic . To start is NOT a contest, there will be no winners or losers, only participants and the pleasure of creating community. I have laid the foundations this simple, precisely to make sure that everyone who feels inspired can come forward. The rules allow any type of game, including book games . What's more, including book games on paper, or board games, or graphic adventures, whatever you want. This is because today, Itchio, allows you to upload to the platform of independent games from games to stories, including table games.
