Africa's Exponecial Growth

I have heard people compare the growth of germany post world war 2 to that of Africa , they argue that africa gained their indipendence during the 1960 but still its still struggles economicly.

They never consider the many variables that africa has , first africa is not cauntry its a continent with with 54 states ,Africa is larger than chaina , America , and Australia combined .Its the second larges continent in the world after Europe.

Due to how massive the continent is , if you conmpare Africa's growth of 4% for instance it's like america growing at 12% to 14% but still if one looks at the data Africa is growing at higher pace with most part of the continent growing with over 6% or highier. Some good examples would be ethiopia which is the most rapidly growing country in the world at some point ethiopia grew with over 11% .

If you look at america since it gained it's indipendence from the british in 4 july 1776 it has been over 250 years and now america's growth anually has stagnated between 1.4% - 2% anually , you can never compare that to africa a continent that had a very small population and with no one having any kind of education what's soever.

Despite the african continent being so young it's now leap froging all those stages of innovation to become a leader in some , for instance m-pesa one of the most effective mobile banking systems in the world. Africa is now perfectly positioned for greater growth than the rest of the world.

Africa has also faced a great deal of neo colonialism with international companies outside africa using colonial tactics and corruption to steal vast reserves of our natural resources.

Comparing Germany to africa is not just abserd but it's also a sin ,we can never be the same but we will always strive to be better.
