For centuries this was the book that people could not read and understand. But maybe it is the end of this mystery. And no thanks to a brilliant translator, and the machines and their artificial intelligence.

The manuscript consists of 240 pages of text written in complicated, strange and unfamiliar language and dotted with diagrams and illustrations. Even there, swinging pages, which is quite strange for a medieval manuscript. And no one knew what it says in the book - the importance of the text eluded mankind for centuries.

Today, Canadian computer scientists have made a breakthrough on the subject.

A team of scientists from the University of Alberta using artificial intelligence to decipher ancient manuscript . Te implemented method called decryption algorithm to reveal underlying and hidden language that builds "words" of the book. They have tested their algorithm in advance at 380 different translation of the Declaration of Human Rights and were able to identify languages in 97% of cases. According to AI text is not written in Arabic as the team imagined and probably in Hebrew, having given other potential languages that were not typical of the Middle Ages.

After an attempt to decode the first 10 pages of text it was found that 80% of the words were detectable in dictionary Hebrew. But the team still does not know whether forming sense when stacked together.
