YOUR FAMILY MAY STILL BE BETTER!

On one particular sunday, Pastor Bernard and his wife celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in the church and the members joined him to rejoice.
On the following day, Mr Brown, who thought his wife had been giving him problem, decided to visit the pastor to ask him how he had handled his marriage for 30 years.
When he knocked on the door, it was the pastor himself that opened the door for him. The pastor led him to the dining table because he was about eating when Mr Brown came in.
The pastor called his wife who was upstairs: "Darling, please get me some water to wash my hands" The wife who never knew that her husband had a visitor answered: "If you still have your legs, I think it will be better if you come for the water yourself because I am not your slave. Besides, I am not your subordinate church members that you order around who obey you sheepishly" Mr Brown was dumbfounded and flabbergasted. The pastor was quick to come in: "I know that you are here to complain about your wife, that was why I deliberately asked my wife for that obligation. This is to let you know that there is no perfect couple or marriage. The attitude of most couples you observe outside is not a true reflection of what goes on in the home. It is a matter of understanding, so go home and manage yours as I have been doing to mine for the past 30 years.
LESSON: Yes, your own family may even be better than the one to which you always report your own case. Marriage is a matter of understanding. Study your spouse and come together to carry your matrimonial cross. I guess I have expressed myself well?
