7-Day Music Challenge: Your Top Albums - #1 AClara

Just came back and got challenged on the first day! @filotasriza3 challenged me to a 7-Day Music Challenge: Your Top Albums! @eliakon also told me she was going to challenge me, but @filotasriza3 was faster!
It seems this challenge was started by @tkappa and everyone is doing it! I have one problem with this challenge though, I don’t normally listen to full albums, I normally listen to single songs… I’ll do my best!
As a Portuguese person that loves my country’s rap, I’ll provide you guys with some Portuguese rap in the first day!
Piruka is a Portuguese rapper, he is one of my favorite rappers because he has some of the vibes that I get listening to Eminem, he mainly raps about life’s problems, drugs, alcohol, being a father, being a son, girls, love, hate, friendship, everything…
The Album is called “AClara”
- The first song is called “Se Eu Não Acordar Amanhã”, he is basically telling his struggle trying to be a good father a good son even though he had problems with what he calls in the song “Farinha” in English “flour”, and asking that, even if he dies tomorrow to put “Clara, which is his daughter, listening to his songs so that she learns what he knew.
- The second one is called “Sirenes”, he essentially tells us that since he was born he hears police’s sirens, and that he doesn’t want that for his daughter so he changed his life, instead of earning money through illegal businesses that would sooner or later put him in jail he started earning money through RAP.
- The third one is called “Ca Bu Fla Ma Nau”, the song is more stuff about how he changed his life, the best part about this song is that it has 2 different languages, Piruka sings in Portuguese while Mota JR sings in Portuguese-based creole language, Cape Verdean Creole to be more exact. The change between Portuguese and Creole makes the flow of the song very pleasing in my opinion. For those that don’t know, Portugal got a heavy influx of immigrants from Africa in the early 90 if I’m not mistaken, they settled in our country and brought their own culture which changed our own culture, both cultures got mixed and we now see people with ancestry from Cape Verde singing in Portuguese and people from Portugal singing in Creole.

Today I'll nominate @valorforfreedom, this is a man that loves metal so i'm expecting some heavy metal full of epicness, blood, war and some viking stuff!

eh pá...glorificar um gajo que foi bandido e decidiu deixar de ser bandido...eu prefiro glorificar quem se comportou sempre decentemente.
Bandido é relativo... o mundo é governado por bandidos, o nosso governo esta cheio de bandidos, ele vendeu um produto que outra pessoa queria comprar, apenas por o produto ser ilegal é que ele é bandido, durante muito tempo foi ilegal o alcool nos USA, durante muitos anos ter um escravo era legal, isso de ser bandido é muito relativo... se nao lhe comprassem a ele compravam ao vizinho, nao sei se andas muito dentro deste tipo de coisas, mas encotrar erva, coca e armas em portugal é tão facil, ja me tentaram por mais do que uma vez sem sequer pedir nada vender... quem se comportou sempre decentemente não sabe das dificuldades da vida, nao sabe o que é passar mal... diz-me tu, se tivesses a fome, com a tua familia a fome e sem roupa, o que farias? preferias ser decente e ir morrendo lentamente a fome e ver a tua familia a fome ou preferias vender erva a outra pessoa?
Eu nisto sou um bocado agressivo e espero que nao te sintas ofendido ou atacado pelo o que eu disse, tenho amigos meus que vendem ou venderam e outros que compram, muitos deles sairam ja dessa vida e têm uma historia de erros para contar, prefiro aprender com os erros dos outros do que os cometer eu proprio...
E não estou a glorificar o rapaz... acho apenas que ele tem uma historia para contar, é dificil achares um rapper bom que nao tenha tido problemas com drogas ou com gangs, por acaso nao sei se o boss ac teve ou nao problemas com as drogas agora tenho de ir pesquisar...
Acho que o elon musk é a unica pessoa que eu glorifico um pouco...
Bem, escrevi quase um testamento hahaha, amanha és tu que vais receber o challenge xD
em Portugal existem bancos alimentares e de roupas e rendimento mínimo...quem tem fome pode lá ir pedir....isso é desculpa...ele vendeu droga para ter outras coisas...não as básicas...´há diferença entre bandido e pobre...há ricos bandidos, há pobres bandidos, há ricos honestos e pobres honestos...a droga gera uma data de problemas adjacentes, os drogados roubam, etc.....ok, tu tens amigos que fizeram isso mas não é por isso que isso é correcto.....nesse tempo, quando o alcool era ilegal, as pessoas que o vendiam não eram propriamente boazinhas...o rap, para mim, não é música, especialmente o rap de ostentação...abraços
Rappers de ostentação? O Valete falou disso no rap consciente, e olha que nao foi para o piruka... piruka nunca mostrou luxo, nao mostra grandes casas nem carros, penso que so o vi a mostrar luxo num rap e foi no ca bu fla ma nau e penso que isso se deve a influencia do mota jr, de resto nunca o vi a mostrar luxo, faz rap sobre ser um bom pai para a filha e um bom filho para a mae, fala de deixar a vida das drogas e começar a trabalhar direito...
EDIT: Penso que com rap de ostentação estas a falar de por exemplo 9 miller que metade dos video clips dele sao carros, gajas, ouro e gajas... nao é dos que eu gosto de ouvir, dillaz, piruka, valete, por exemplo têm conteudo, têm historia por trás, o valete ensinou-me com 14 anos atráves da musica roleta russa que se uma miuda nao quer que eu utilize preservativo mais vale a pena sair de lá do que acabar com HIV, e como ensinou a mim ensinou muitos MUITOS mais
EDIT: Olha ouve esta musica do Dillaz, ouve mesmo a letra e diz-me se o que ele diz e o que ensina não é algo que toda a gente devia ouvir
i can't say much about the song as i can't understand shit :P but i read of what is about that you mentioned. What i though was really fascinating was what was the first song about. You don't see many rap songs that actually talk about being a good father-son it is consider ''soft'' they all talk about the regular things : drugs,guns,gangs, more drugs, deaths and way more drugs
I think the only other rap that i know that talks about being a good father is eminem, which is my favorite rapper... people think men that talk about their felling and care about others are "soft" well, their daughters and sons probably don't think the same and are better off with fathers that care about them :) glad you enjoyed the songs, i'll probably stick to portuguese songs to put my culture out there xD
whatever suits your better! music has no boundaries!
