I would like to cordially invite you to another great week of the Amazing Nature Contest. There were already so many excellent entries regarding how amazing nature can be in the past episodes and there is still so much more to see. To participate in #amazingnature just create a post that shows how amazing nature is for you personally. This can be anything from a beautiful flower or animal to an astonishing sunset.

What is the Purpose of the Contest ?
I am a huge lover of nature and really enjoy to take pictures of all the lovely things that surround me every day, no matter if those are plants, animals or landscapes. I found steemit to be a brilliant place to find and watch nature pictures from all over the world. There is such a diversity of great content out there, thanks to all of you, from different perspectives and out of various motivations. I would like to collect all those beautiful snapshots and their amazing stories in a weekly compilation so that you can all benefit from the beauty that we are facing all the time, but so often are not able to appreciate in the modern times we are living in.

Then you enter this challenge offcourse!!!

Throughout the year we have different periods in which mushrooms can grow in the garden or grass. They can come and grow up with many at the same time. There are various types of mushrooms, but most species that occur in the grass do no harm and are not toxic or harmful for animals. Mushrooms, also called fungi, grow from fungus and occur on organic and nutritious substrates. The chance of fungi is greater when working with organic fertilizers or nutrient-rich soils. In humid weather ( like with us in The Netherlands where it has been raining for a week now ) and at the right temperatures, the fungi grow and mushrooms appear. I find them especially fun in size or amounts and funny here and there in nature. And I used to have a very rich fantasy and gnomes and elves I found fantastic just like 🍄 . And now I still have a laugh when I see them, and who knows, maybe real gnomes live in them or elves for that matter ....... if I find out I will definitely blog about it here on Steemit !

this is not in my garden but in the fields where we walk our dogs. It’s besides the pont and just blossoming in nature. Pictures are mine taken with my IPhone XSMAX
