Nasi Kuning Versi Indonesia Timur (bilingual)
Eastern Indonesia has many unique foods but still fits the tastes of society in general. One of them is Nasi Kuning or Yellow Rice. The one that make this different from other area is the side dish. Look at the photo, the rice is cover with noodle, chili, nuts, potato, tempe, egg, fish, and bean. Also we can still add some meat floss if they have it. Don't worry for the price, the higher price that I pay for this is IDR12.000 (less then $1 for rate currency on July 2018) in Ambon.
Indonesia bagian Timur memiliki banyak makanan yang unik tapi tetap bisa dinikmati oleh masyarakat umum. Salah satunya adalah nasi kuning. Satu hal yang membedakan dengan nasi kuning di daerah lain adalah menu tambahannya. Kalau dilihat di foto, nasi ditutupi dengan mie, sambal, sambal goreng kentang, tempe, buncis, ikan, dan telur. Selain itu juga bisa menambahkan abon jika mereka sedang ada persediaan. Untuk harga jangan khawatir, harga termahal yang pernah saya bayarkan adalah Rp.12.000 (kurang dari satu dolar Amerika menurut kurs pada bulan Juli 2018) di Ambon.
