Anyone who is visiting California and in particular Orange County for sightseeing the region’s most treasured landmarks must visit the Crystal Cathedral. For those tourists who are religious at heart and hold high regards for an established religious institution, will find their sacred peace in this sanctified Crystal church. For those, who harbor an artistic or creative interest and revel at the sight of awe-inspiring buildings, the Crystal Church grand architectural design will leave them jaw-dropped. Nevertheless, on the whole, the building of the Crystal Church celebrates the wonders and majesty of art and culture, reflects the zenith of man creativity depicts his profound love for religion which led him creating such a masterpiece.

Although it is the sacred place where the Roman Catholics see their faiths consolidated, the church welcomes the faithful from all over the world who uphold diverse religious beliefs and customs to celebrate God benevolent and magnificent presence. On its completion in 1981, this cathedral was flaunted as the largest glasshouse building in the world.

One of the world’s most notable and largest pipe organ, the Hazel Wright Memorial organ is present in the Crystal Cathedral.

The crystal cathedral is considered as an inciting cultural and religious epicenter because when the archdiocese of the orange county bought the church and its compound that covered the area of 34 acres, the Catholic officials began their work. While transforming the unique grounds and the church building into a site that respects the heritage of the Roman Catholics, the vivacious new soul of worship can both accommodate 1.2 million Catholics residing in Orange County and open doors for tourists from all over the world.
