The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is located within Michigan's Milwaukee Junction area of Detroit in the United States of America. It is a former automobile factory built back in 1904. It was the second automobile production center for the Ford Motor Company following the initial one named Ford Mack Avenue Plant. The company first created the Ford Model T, the vehicle that initiated the mass usage of automobiles in the US in this factory outlet. Before the creation of Model T, various other models were assembled at The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant. This factory is also one of those where over one hundred cars were assembled in a day's time. Ford Motor Company is one of the biggest automakers in the US and used The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant until 1910. Post which the car production was relocated to the bigger plant named Highland Park Ford Plant.

In 1911 the factory was bought by Studebaker which again used it to assemble cars until the year 1933. It went through a series of buyers for the remaining of the twentieth century until it finally became a museum in the year 2001. It is since then an open to the public museum as one of the oldest automotive factories. As per the records of 2016, this museum is visited by around 18,000 visitors each year. This museum exhibit displays that focus majorly on the automotive industry of the United States. In the year 2002, The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant was added to the National Register of Historic Places. In 2003 it became a Michigan State Historic Site and got popular amongst the various tourists and admirers of automobiles. In the year 2006, it was also marked as a National Historic Landmark.

It takes around 2 hours for visitors to explore the entire museum. There is enough space for parking on the western side of the museum. The cost of the ticket for adults less than sixty-five years of age is 12 USD and that for senior citizens is 10 USD. The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is a unique museum to experience the oldest automobile components. It is almost unchanged since always and comprises of three stories built in the England style. Each of the three stories is divided into sections using fire doors made up of metal.
