Anarchaforko Anarchapulco Fork Update: How to Do What You Want At Anarchaforko, Who's On the Schedule and Last Night's Winner!

Anyone who’s looked through the website knows we use phrasing like “return the power to the participant” and I think it’s worth highlighting one big fact today….

“The magic in the fork comes from those who participate in it!”

By that I mean many things because there are many ways to interact with the project known as Anarchaforko.

First and foremost one of our biggest goals with the fork has always been to decentralize the conference structure as a whole. That sounds confusing until we break it down to this, everyone who has a ticket has the power to add as many events as they want to the calendar.

Event is a general term which includes the following:
parties
talks
speeches
workshops
presentations
performance
play
dinner
night out
bar visits
market trips
island trips
botanical garden trips
water park trips
archaeological zone trip (yes, there’s one right at the top of the mountain in the city.)
and really anything you can think of to do with other people within the city of Acapulco during the main event or before/after with those who stay longer than just February 22-24.

That’s right, if you have a ticket you can add as many (or as few and just attend) events as you want in the city and you even get the capability to add ticket prices for those events if need be. This is useful for things like scuba trips or if you’re a bigger name. Your event will display immediately for you to share and we will only remove obvious spam, so anything goes.

You’re also welcome to schedule things at the same time as others but I don’t recommend it unless you have to.

I’ve had a lot of people ask me questions like “who’s on the speaker list?” or even “who can speak”. With Anarchaforko, it’s not our job to tell people when and how they can speak. We have compiled a list of more well known people titled the Very Impactful Persons list on our website with those already involved with this year. Its up to them to schedule themselves, if that’s what they want to do!
