A Rant On Feminism

Some feminists complain about the behaviour of men, but it is really the women that are responsible for the behaviour of men. Women's decisions, more than anything else, decide what men are like.

The reason is sexual reproduction and the inherent asymmetry between men and women. A women can only be pregnant once at a time, but a men can have children with many women at the same time. The consequences can be seen everywhere. The women decide which man to accept. Some men are perceived as exceptionally fit and there will be fierce competition for them. Some man are in the middle of the spectrum and they will accept any female offer they get and some man will be entirely rejected by the women. On the opposite there are very few women that cannot find a partner and most of the time it is because they try to compete in a higher league.

So when it comes to selecting the parents of the future generation, it is mostly the women that decide on who will be a father. Then top tier of men do have some influence, but most man have almost none. By choosing their sexual partners, women decide how the future generation of men will be like.

So instead of complaining about men, women should take responsibility for their own decisions....

Of course what I argue above is pure bullshit. Not because it is not true, but because there is neither a collective male, nor collective female responsibility. We are all just individuals. We take responsibility for ourselves and our children. A women is not responsible for the sexual preferences that other women had in the past and has any right to complain about the behaviour of other male or female individuals. A man is not responsible for the stupidity of other men. But once you start to agree in artificial terms (as the men vs the women) there will be logical loopholes. The only universally consistent moral is an individual moral.
