Voting is like asking Jeffrey Dahmer to “please eat less people”

in #anarchy5 years ago (edited)

An update to my previous voting video from today. Ultimately, voting is idiotic and lends an air of false legitimacy to tyranny. Some aspects of it could potentially be viewed as violent. Almost all aspects of the “political process” advocate violence. At a gut, base, spiritual level, though, actively “voting” as such is just not something voluntaryists do.

That said, no one is justified in killing or beating someone up who is trying to vote against extra taxes. In this sense, this kind of thing cannot really be seen as “violence” (a violation of property) as defined by the libertarian property ethic.

A few days ago I ran into what I think is a quote, but it describes perfectly why voting is similar to giving a thief permission to steal.

When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and glorifies it.

No idea where this came from, but it looks pretty accurate.

Frederick Bastiat and I agree it looks pretty accurate.

Thank you, I looked him up; interesting fellow.

kafkanarchy84,

Pragmatism is simply aversion to principle.

Ayn Rand for all her personal betrayals and minarchism (aversion(s) to principle) still stated correctly, "No valid philosophy can't be practiced to the nth degree." If you have to stoop to pragmatism you've proven your philosophy invalid. Throw it away.

Ayn Rand also stated correctly, "The mixed economy model is socialism, not capitalism", and "The conflict remains statism versus freedom." A glance anywhere on the globe reveals despotism all manifest from statism. The enemy of freedom votes. Freedom does not vote. Freedom simply is.

Freedom has never been created or maintained by voting. The mixed economy model exists solely to farm up corruption fertilized with moral hazard. What benevolence is there in aversion of principle to holding voters accountable for the planetary omnicide unfolding? What possible greater collective violent act can manifest from voting? It's literally game over, idiocracy destroys mankind. The ongoing collapse of the biosphere is a strategic action initiated by globalist military(s) waging weather warfare to preserve stranglehold control over every man, woman, child and nonhuman on earth. Can you name one USA politician that has spoken out against climate engineering? What kind of sick twisted individual votes for politicians that are complicit with global weather warfare against all citizen populations around the globe? Please pick the bar up off the ground if you are the only one in your midst that can see it.

The Hopi Elder saying is, "We are the ones we've been waiting for." My Woodchuck saying is, "I am the one I was waiting for." The bodies are piled like mountains around the globe. It's irrational to debate the magical thinking of individual vote delegation of accountability to a collective for supporting torture and murder around the globe. Especially when every vote participates in planetary omnicide facilitated by controlled opposition. See the devil you know.

Pragmatism is like candy to the eldest statists whom hope to run out the clock feeding off the youngest statists, however karma has a way of devouring them both. Truth is not a label, there is no right way to do something wrong. Where goes the wolf, comes the wolf. I'm 59 years old and it didn't take me my whole lifetime to commit myself to the pursuit of infinite truth. Ego is always dysfunctional, collective ego is enhanced dysfunction, in 2018 pathologically so. See the devil you know.

The exponential growth of global debt condemns statism. There are always lies about the money trail but the money trail doesn't lie. Voting is a confession to the crime(s). Voters know this, they simply live each day hoping to avoid their sentence, by worshiping the state. However I've never found evidence that everlasting life is avoidable. Every vote is an act of aggression against self. There is no separateness. See the devil you know.

Statism is evil, and no amount of faith and denial will change that. Voluntaryism is a universally preferable behavior. Voting is violent aggression. To prefer not to see the genocide of the Palestine people facilitated by voting does not change the truth. What percent of USA voters see the genocide of the Palestinian people? I'd say less than one percent. That isn't an oversight it is a strategic goal of USA politicians and central bankers. What kind of sick twisted individual votes for the lesser of two evils? Answer: A narcissistic sociopath. See the devil you know.

The devil you know is collective ego.

I spent most my life living in Countries other than my own and therefore wasn't allowed to vote. Now that once again I live on my native soil I see no valid reason to vote.

I was born 1959 at the Kapiolani Hospital on the Island of Oahu, Sovereign Nation of Hawaii. History reveals Hawaii is not a "50th state" of USA, but a sovereign nation illegally overthrown in 1893 and still enduring illegal occupation by the gov't of USA. The lawful gov't of Hawaii has been reinstated and served legal notice to the illegal USA gov't occupying Hawaii. the USA gov't ignores the notice despite being on record of apologizing for the overthrow of the lawful gov't of Hawaii. International law dictates that a nation overthrown never loses its sovereignty.

The USA gov't considers me their property as indicated by their passport laws and endless requests for my vote. I was born before they even announced Hawaii as a "50th" state later that same year. I have no nation. I am nobody's property. I simply am.

It seems the dream of any self-professed voluntaryist is just to be left alone. This reminds me of the song "Oil Man's War" where Kathleen Edwards sang the lyric, "And though I'm just a simple man, even my dreams I deserve to have."

Enjoy the freedom you can hold onto.
