3 Tips To Productively Channel Your Anger!

I'm angry now leave me alone! We all hear this phrase and some of us say it. Have we ever thought that we should channel this anger productively? Or have we ever thought about producing something positive from this anger? Most people view anger as a negative emotion, but it is just one of a wide array of normal human feelings. Uncontrolled anger can have negative consequences on your interpersonal relationships and quality of life.

When I looked at the disadvantages of anger, I thought I really should find solutions to prevent it. But in fact, anger is something physiological. We don't have to hide it, all we have to do is to turn it into power to gain success. If you look at the damage of anger you will see that we have to find out some tips to channel our anger, otherwise, it will damage our lives.

Since we all know the danger of anger and nobody doubts it. A lot of people have lost their best friends because of anger when they said something hurt them, a lot of us made our mothers or fathers sad because we said something disrespectful. I am not going to show you how to prevent this anger at all because this is not possible. We are human after all, we cry, we laugh, and we get angry.

But let me show you how to deal with this anger and how to channel it. Now you are angry or someone annoyed you. What will you do? how will you act and what will you say? will you express your anger? how will you express it? Anger is a bad feeling that a person feels inside him and we can not stop it in many times, now will I give you some tricks to channel it into positive power?

1. Human beings get angry

The idea that we should hide our anger is not true. Anger is a physiological thing. Though that does not mean we are allowed to hurt people when we get angry or to kill them. But thinking about anger as it is a normal feeling is correct.

So think about anger as it is a part of your life and don't feel shy to express it without hurting anyone. But if you get angry all the time, then this is not something normal, and you have to reduce your anger in this case.

2. Do something useful

Have you ever thought about turning this anger into power? you have to try that! If you do exercises when you are angry you will feel that you are doing it much better. I want you to use this as a rule. When you get angry do something useful like:

  • Clean your house.
  • Clean your car.
  • Take a shower.
  • Do your homework.
  • Do anything physical.

If you think this way you would never hurt anyone or kill anyone when you get angry you will always think to do something positive. And there's a story of someone who had a bad neighbor that used to make him angry when he had nothing to do with that. Whenever his neighbor pissed him off, he used to get busy in cleaning the garden and that was his style of showing anger to that neighbor. But when his neighbor passed away, he stopped cleaning the garden because even though the neighbor used to piss him off, he still loved that neighbor.

3. Prove that they are mistaken

When someone is trying to tell you that you are such a loser, we all get angry when we hear those words. Now I am asking you to use this anger to prove that this person is just mistaken. Use this anger to motivate you to achieve your goals, and prove yourself.

For example, if you can't speak English well and someone is making fun of your English. Actually, you can use this anger to change the situation, go study hard and use your time. And always think about yourself and how to develop yourself instead of thinking about hurting the person who is making you angry.

In conclusion, anger is a normal feeling don't hide it, feel free to express it, but don't hurt anyone, use it to change your life and motivate yourself. Do something useful and don't waste your time.

thanks to some of the solutions you gave, my mama also once said that anger is normal for human, but we can prevent from hurting people with our words and deeds. if we stand up is recommended to sit, then drink a glass of water, and count from 1-100 after that can talk and approach others again. to survive. to making some friends, please follow me @vinniadam, i'm also do that

If ever you have anger problems consider going to counselling or anger management.
In the meantime my tips for you is to exercise. If you don't already, make sure to set aside time for a regular exercise routine. Exercise will reduce stress and negative emotion, improve your mood, your confidence, and your coping skills. Martial arts and/or kickboxing is highly recommended for people with anger problems or pent up aggression. Yoga or Thai Chi are also good options if you want something more gentle and less cardio based. Dont let anger ruin your day be happy always life is to short to waste your time on useless things. :')

Very Truly said, i opt to stay quiet on my own when I am angry, otherwise the manifestation of anger on other people from my side becomes very nasty which has ruined my relations with my near and dear ones

excelente post. es totalmente cierto. tambien suelo hacer lo que esta en el post. el dia de ayer tube mucha ira cuando mi computadora se apago pues me tenian que prestar el cargador para hacer mis trabajos en internet. asi que salí una hora a caminar por la ciudad y pude menguar mi ira y me dio tiempo para pensar muchas cosas y reflexionar que; muchas cosas escapan d mis manos pero tengo que tener una mejor actitud. al fin y al cabo" la mayor muestra de inteligencia es aquel que puede resolver los problemas con la mejor actitud" (hay que ser resilente). también lo practico al entrenar taekwondo y me ayuda cuando me molesto porque me hace perfeccionar mis patadas.

Being able to control your anger is what men do. It is childish to show your anger constantly. It is childish to not be able to control your anger, or to show your anger inappropriately. Certainly, your anger must come out at the right time – but each time some little thing bothers you is not the right time to show your anger. This is not repression, it is channeling. The anger must be channeled into a higher pursuit.

when I got angry I switch off phone and try to engaged with some other household task as you adviced on your blog. This is sometimes hard to control our anger.

anger can cause much harm if allowed to stay for,long...many homes around the world have been broken due to uncontrolled anger. It would realy be wise for one,to channel his anger into things that will lead to success.
