Animal - Owls in Byron Bay

Spooky Owls

We were sitting outside our campervan on a camping ground in Byron Bay, Australia. It was already dark and ever now and then I had the feeling that something flew around us, behind our back and in between us. But it was so fast and there was almost no light so that we couldn´t see anything.

The next day I went out of the campervan and looked up in the trees and had to laugh. Now we knew what was flying around our heads the night before. It wasn´t just a single owl, no its was a complete family.

Gespenstische Eulen

Wir saßen vor unserem Wohnmobil auf einem Campingplatz in Byron Bay, Australien. Es war schon dunkel und immer wieder hatte ich das Gefühl, dass etwas um uns herumfliegt, hinter unserem Rücken und zwischen uns. Aber es war so schnell und es gab fast kein Licht, so dass wir nichts sehen konnten.

Am nächsten Tag ging ich aus dem Wohnmobil und schaute in die Bäume und musste lachen. Jetzt wussten wir, was in der Nacht zuvor um uns herum geflogen war. Es war nicht nur eine Eule, nein, es war eine komplette Familie.
