It's whale season again across the south east coast of Australia.
Keep an eye out for those spurts, especially around dawn. The low position of the sun makes the spurts glimmer on the surface during this time, making them much easier to see.
The wind is usually much calmer at this time as well.

I don't live near the coast and when I go there it's not in a spot frequented by whales, so I probably won't see many. But I hope you see many. They are such majestic creatures.
