Just like kids are! After some time at the stream the heard started heading off back to the bush, however one young elephant decided that he was not ready to leave and stayed behind to play in the soft river sand just a little bit longer, picking up sand with his trunk and scattering it around him, then he started swiping his feet back and forth over the sand just like an uncertain child would and eventually decided to catch up with the herd in stead- here are the photos I took of this event, hope that you like them:

An amazing experience. Elephants have a similar brain in connectivity to the human brain, and even have an increased emotional intelligence from almost all other creatures on earth.
