Picnic in the park

While out for a stroll in one of the local city parks I happened to come upon this feller having a picnic in the park. I think it is some sort of hawk (@birdbanter, can you help with an ID?) but don't know much beyond that.

In the second photo, if you look closely you can see what appears to be a mouse in the talons. It appears suppertime is about to commence...

I don't manage to see these very often so I thought I'd share, hope you enjoy!
