Animalphotography - A Day at the Zoo
In 2017 i had the annual passes for the Zoos in Salzburg, Vienna and Schmiding thats why i visited those Zoos several times this in 2017 for some animalphotography. Most of the time i had luck with the weather and brigth sunshine that helped me with the Exposure. On this day a lot of children with their parents visited the zoo also. I was pretty shocked that a lot of parents didn't even know the names of several animals. Of course the most common like the gourilla, the lion or a parrot they knew but if they where a little more exotic most of the parents didn't knew the name. And what i was even more surprised of they didn't even look at the signs in front of the fence. I didn't thought of it any further and so i took my pictures for my pleasure. This is something very relaxing for me and i love it to calm down after a hard day of work.
What i like about this Zoo is that they don't have a lot of glass but Fences. For Photographers with long lenses it is easy to wipe out the fence with a nice Zoom range automatically so you don't see any fence on the picture. If you have glass you always have to be carefull not to get a reflection to kill your picture.
