Majestic White Heron's Neck Looks Unreal, Like a Puppet... (6 new and original photos)
This is part 2 of my White Heron pictures from a recent hike at the lake.
I can't get over how unnatural some of these pictures look. He looks like a muppet or some other Jim Henson creation.
And watch out for the one where he looks right at the camera... bird gazes are so penetrating...

how can you tell the difference from a great egret and a white heron?They look the same to me.nice shots..i love them birds . i can spend hours shooting them.so cool when they're in flight too.
