Exploitation or cooperation: where is the truth?

With the onset of warm days, many animals appeared on the streets, with the help of which people earn. Mostly this applies to resort towns. These are horses on which you are offered a ride, or exotic animals with which you are offered to take pictures. It would seem that there is nothing wrong with the fact that animals help a person to earn money, including their own food. But, unfortunately, the truth sometimes turns out to be terrible, showing us an example of slave labor and cruel exploitation.
I personally do not see anything wrong with when animals help a person to earn money, but only when it is based on cooperation. A couple of years ago we became the object of attacks by local zoosec- tors because we had a goat. We were accused of exploiting a goat, because I was milking it. But I must note that this was what I call the cooperation of man and animal. Yes, I milked her and this milk helped me to feed the kittens and puppies that came to us. But she lived in very good conditions. We took care of her. The veterinarian visited her regularly. The dog of our friends all her life was shot in advertising. It was a gorgeous golden retriever and she loved to pose. I do not see anything wrong with such cooperation between animal and human.
I also do not see anything wrong with other forms of livelihood with the help of animals, but only when animals are kept in good conditions and have their fair share of this earnings that are spent on their maintenance. But this applies to pets, for whom living next to a person and communicating with him is a normal process that does not lead to stress.
Another thing - street photography with wild animals or contact zoos. It's really terrible. To ensure the safety of people and passive behavior of animals, they are given special drugs. In contact zoos, animals experience tremendous stress and die very quickly. I'm not talking about the process of training circus animals, which is a real hell.
This must always be remembered. Demand creates supply. Photographed with drugged monkey or python, visiting circus performances involving animals, everyone takes part in this inhuman business. Is the momentary pleasure an adequate price for others' suffering?
