Troubles with Porthos
As I said before, socialization and obedience training is an important part of our work with dogs. But alone I can not teach 17 dogs! Therefore, some of them first go to the dog handler, and in a few days I join the learning process. But with Porthos, everything went wrong. On the first day, he made a tunnel and ran away! Fortunately, we quickly found him. He seemed to have calmed down. But the next day, the dog handler called me and said that Porthos ran away again. This time we could not find him. I was terrified! Of course, I understood that he has my phone number on his collar, but the problem is that he does not come close to strangers. I have traveled the whole village but I couldn't find him:(
Late in the evening, Romashka and I went to get food for storks. Just in case, I decided once again to drive down the street where the dog handler lives. And I saw Porthos! He ran along the road. At first, he wanted to hide, but I quickly stopped the car and began to call him. Fortunately, he recognized me immediately! He looked awful! It was covered in mud and I washed him for more than half an hour when we returned home. But I was happy that he was at home. Probably, I will continue classes with him, I will not dare to leave him there again.
I hope that he won't be running away again and calm down, eventually 😀
How young is he?

I will not leave him there anymore, I will go there with him
I'm so glad you found him! He is so cute! I hope his training goes well.
Safe and clean that is what matters, someday he will trust completely and settle in.
Handsome Porthos looks to need some extra schooling and lots of loving....:-)
Poor little Porthos, I'll bet he was scared being lost and all alone. He is such a cute little fellow, I wish you much success training him.
