Bird of luck

"Bird of luck." This is the name of the exotic farm, which is located in the village of Sergievka, Orenburg region.

We with my daughter and other bloggers went there on the weekend. I'll show you some photos so you can roughly understand what kind of place.

In general, the farm is positioned as an ostrich farm. But in our time no one is surprised by ostriches. But a great variety of other birds - quite. But the tour does not start with birds, but with raccoons.

Raccoons on the farm are new. Brought them in early May. Therefore, they are not used to people yet and spend the whole daylight hours on the beam under the roof. And people can only look at the situation inside the enclosure.

Dwarf pigs are quite sociable and friendly when not sleeping. Even more cheerful are some overseas goats, who like to communicate very much. Even more they love when someone scratches their back. But I will not show you their photos, because when I had to photograph I scratched a goat at the horns))

Proteins are strange. On the one hand, they are very curious, on the other - cowardly. But they are very fast.

Find the animal.

The birds are complicated. Males are bright and colorful, and females are unattractive. I somehow did not know this before. In Kaliningrad, I was constantly amazed that the gray ugly ducks swim with ducklings, and multi-colored childless. Now I know why this happens.

There are many different exotic birds on the farm. For example, only pheasants and chickens are of several kinds. Even the swans are not only white, but also black. A guide about every animal or bird tells some interesting facts. For example, ostriches never hide their heads in the sand. They put their ear to the ground to hear what is happening around them. And swans need 20 meters of a straight water surface to climb into the air. There is no such runway on the farm and therefore swans do not fly away.

Many birds quite successfully carry eggs. Employees take the eggs into the incubator and take the chicks out of them.

Ostriches on the farm quite a lot and they are bred. They carry very large eggs.

And about such. I have a small ostrich egg in my hand. They are more. In one ostrich egg can contain 30-40 eggs. The shell is very thick.

On the farm you can buy not only eggs, but also beautiful feathers of various birds. Prices start from 50 rubles.

The ticket price for an adult is 250 rubles, and for a child - 150.
