... right on the entrance of the Architecture and Construction University of Kharkov, aptly.

Beketov, the Ukrainian architect and Ukraine ssr's honored artist has his monument on the popular Sumskaya street. He has his splendid works scattered around in the city, most notably the Kharkov microbiology and immunology research institute building.

Beketov came from a well educated background and his family is not far from holders of honorable positions in the history of Ukraine.

Most, if not all, of his architectural projects can immediately catch your eye and are praised by being either educational institutions or museums.

I can confidently say he was a great mind, and his memory remains in our hearts, and aspiring architecs get their dose of motivation everyday before they enter their campus.
