Aquaponics Catching Tilapia!
Hey everyone, well this was incredibly interesting. I built many an aquaponics system in the past and grew a large variety of different vegetables in the system. In my opinion there is no better way to grow both fruit vegetables and protein in the form of fish.
This system I last visited 6 months ago or more and did a few blogs too. A few things have changed so I thought I would do some nice updates. I am currently busy with an 'uber' blog so that will take some time but for now, I took a nice small video of the chaps catching some 500 gram odd Mozambique Tilapia.
I have a rather extensive knowledge of Aquaponics so if any folks are keen on getting into it at some point do ask away in the comments below and I will guide you through the process, it is incredibly interesting, rewarding, tons of fun and you get fish and vegetables as well as doing your bit for the environment!

Tilapia are illegal to cultivate in Australia. If they ended up in a river or creek it would be devastate the surround environment. We use barramundi as a alternative. What type of system do you use?
Couldn't agree more. Definitely the best way of farming.....just wish we had a pro to set us up ;)
