توجد بنواحي مدينة أكادير في الجنوب المغربي و بمناطق متفرقة أخرى.. هي عبارة عن مخازن ضخمة جماعية.. تعود الى ما قبل القرن الرابع قبل الميلاد....
تم بنائها وفق مواصفات دقيقة لتخزين الحبوب و المحاصيل الفلاحية و حفظ الزيوت و العسل و الحلي من الذهب و الفضة والكتب و أدوات التطبيب و الأسلحة و كل ما هو ثمين...
الملاحظ في طبيعة المعمار أنه شبيه بتصاميم صومعة الكتبية بمراكش و حسان و صومعة الخيرالدة بإسبانيا... "إكودار" اذن لا تشبه الصوامع المشرقية الدائرية و اللولبية و ما إلى ذلك... بل هي مثل الصوامع المغربية ذات متوازيات مستطيلات.. و قواعد مربعة....
اكودار و طابع تصميمها يجعل منها تحفة مورية صامدة الى الآن.. ترسم بدقة البصمة العمرانية المورية المغربية.. و دليل على أن اليد المورية المغربية هي التي شيّدت مآثر الأندلس إبان العصر الأسلامي..
و حجة بأن التصميم الموري متجذر بالتاريخ و ليس وليد تمازج او تأثر بطابع آخر...
