Archisteem & Steemitworldmap Collaboration

Another good news that the @archisteem team wants to share with all the Steemians, especially to @archisteem, @steemitworldmap and @travelfeed community!

I think the communities members have gained some awareness about @archisteem as we are actively working on our curation work to search for great quality stories to be featured in our project, 1001 Places to Remember. Our aim is to collect amazing stories about places, people and experiences (memories) and compile them into a unique publication that belongs to the Steemit community. As of now, we had curated around 100 over stories from @steemitworldmap, @travelfeed as well as @steemitbloggers. All of these communities host amazing authors!

Our way of curate the stories is to search for stories that fit with the theme of our project which talks about places, regardless of a house, a restaurant, a square, a church, a natural reserve, a district, a state or even a country. Nonetheless, the most important element for this project is the memory and experience that the author wants to share with the audience. Normally, we get useful traveling tips from this kind of travel genre writings, but we are looking for personal experience and feeling about the places. To us, that is what connects people with places, creating a sense of belonging. Without that feeling, any place will be pretty generic and meaningless to be in. Thus, we love to see more and more stories that highlight their personal feelings in it.

While we curate the stories by dropping them a message, the stories will automatically be added to our database which will be processed by the team. We will segment the stories to seasons, depending on when is the submission date and the corresponding active season. Next, all the stories will be recorded into our progressive report which we will produce every day (unless there is a more important announcement to be made). As of now, our progressive report has reached #60 and the project has now approach Season 10! Each season, we will shortlist 20 over stories to compete for a total of 10 Steem prize reward. On the other hand, we had already given out around 90 Steem so far to the winners.

I would like to thank @martibis for agreeing our @archisteem team to establish this collaborative work together to bring more value to the authors. It is a blessing to us as we are able to access to so many awesome writers out there which we find it challenging to search by scrolling through #travel or #travelphotography. Besides, I would like to admit that @steemitworldmap does inspired me to congregate all these amazing stories of all the places and make it into a more valuable product that could be accessed by more readers, even people outside the Steemit community! That is a way to do promotion for Steem too.

Lastly, I would like to call out to the community to join us and help us to complete this project, 1001 Places to Remember and make it a landmark project on Steemit. I believe with the power of such a passionate community, we are able to achieve this seemingly impossible mission.
