Architectural Photography - A Room with a View
I’m in Atlanta for a couple of days, staying at the Hyatt Regency downtown. The hotel rooms are built around a central atrium that had some interesting architecture with repeated geometric themes. My room was on the eleventh floor, high enough to get some interesting shots looking down through some of the geometric structures to get a telescoping view down to the lower floors. All shots were taken with my iPhone X.
And here’s a view from the lobby looking up at the atrium and the multi story sculpture in the center of the lobby.
This is my contribution to @juliank’s #architecturalphotography #photocontests.

Thanks! I’m back in Maryland already. It was a very quick trip.
Wow! I love architecture and always welcome the unusual, which this obviously fits the bill.
I haven't thanked you for your awesome upvotes on my profile. I appreciate it and wanted to let you know they are definitely noticed.
Hav a safe trip back!(soon, I hope!)
Thanks! I’m back already after a 45 minute delay in boarding and a very slow “takeoff” that took another hour. But that’s air travel these days. I’m always happy to support #thealliance and its amazing content producers. Steem on!
WOW those are so cool, if I ever visit there I want to stay in that hotel
Thanks, it was one of the most interesting hotels I’ve stayed in in quite a while. Given my weekly travel, I see a lot of boring hotels.
in my time I saw many boring ones as well much more than the interesting ones like this one
