West Coast Travel - Uncountable Beaches

Our USA visas are about expiring, so we've decided to spend this long weekend on the West Coast - USA side.
We really love the ocean and have couple beautiful spots here in BC, we enjoy staying here and love to explore it, but it's hard to get to these spots - you are required taking ferry first and then drive 4-5 hours, which is not comfortable at all.

Living or staying near the ocean is totally different experience in comparison with living in the big City, like Vancouver or Seattle. I can't say that the life near the ocean is more relaxing, it's just different. People are more real (you know what I mean?) and they live real lives.

So, our first stop was Ocean Shore. We wanted to go to La Push first but got stuck for 4 hours on the border (in the case of the traffic) and couldn't afford it. So we decided to go straight to Ocean Shore.

It took us a while to get there. I don't remember something exciting about Ocean Shore - we met a lot of oysters farms on the way, small towns and signs saying about BigFoots.

We stayed a night at Ocean Shore and after a huge portion of traditional American Breakfast, which I never can finish, went to Long Beach. This route was more pleasant.

On our way, we stopped at Fort Clatsop. Fort Clatsop was the winter encampment for the Corps of Discovery from December 1805 to March 1806. It was so exciting to see how real discovers used to live and also to learn more about things they were suffering.

After a long trip suddenly you find yourself in the movie scene.
