Architectural photography: Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, beautiful Mexican church overlooking the beach
Nuestra Senora del Carmen is a charming Catholic Church in the heart of Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The small space offers refuge from the heat and often-busy city streets.
The peaceful interior full of fresh flowers makes a good place to rest and admire the tranquil, spiritual atmosphere.
What I love about this place is the window behind the alter that looks out over the bay. It opens up to the beautiful beach and ocean. Simply stunning!
In the church, they provide good services and holy mass ceremonies in Spanish and also in English language.
They also do destination weddings ;)
Worth the stop to say a little blessing while on the 5th Avenue. This is one of the most beautiful churches I've been to in my life.
