How to Acquire AXU Tokens?

The following brief guide explains how to participate in the private pre-distribution of the AXU Tokens
Argentas AXU Tokens (Argentas Exchange Unit) have been listed and verified on the Stellarport decentralized exchange. The following step-by-step instructions give a fast, easy and safe way to effect the token purchase in a couple of minutes only if you follow the instructions below.

There are two alternative ways to acquire AXU Tokens: (1) to buy them with XLM as described in this article, or (2) buy them with other cryptocurrencies BTC, ETH, BCH or LTC, or with fiat money by using credit/debit cards and PayPal. The second option to use other cryptocurrencies or fiat money is described in detail on our website argentas.io after the login. To be able to log in to the member area, you will first need to quickly sign up by clicking the “Sign up” or “Get AXU” button on the homepage. The rest of this article will describe the steps related to option 1.

What you need at hand is your Stellarport wallet activated with sufficient amount of XLM (Stellar lumens) on your account to cover for your desired purchase amount. If you don’t have a Stellarport wallet yet or any Stellar lumens (XLM) at hand, and need to buy some XLM and activate the wallet but don’t yet know, how to do it, please read this short piece on some guidance on how to buy XLM here.

Go to the website argentas.io and scroll down to the “Private AXU Token Pre-Distribution” section, click the “Get AXU” button, carefully read and approve the terms and conditions by clicking the boxes and the “Continue” button. Then, on the next page appearing on the screen, please follow the instructions (they are along the same lines as the ones given hereunder).

The below instructions include screenshots for the Stellarport desktop wallet — mobile versions may differ slightly.

A Few Quick Steps to Buy AXU Tokens
Step 1: When you have a Stellarport wallet activated and a desired balance of lumens (XLM) deposited on it, log in to Stellarport and click Exchange link on the top menu. You may need to click the “Login to Trade” button and confirm access with your wallet password.

Step 2: In the upper left corner of the screen, you see two assets listed with three-digit code and the word “verified”. Click the Change button under the one on the left. An asset search screen pops up (normally, you will not see AXU automatically appearing first as is in the screenshot below).

Step 3: Type “AXU” in the search screen, and when a square with AXU and “argentas.io verified” appears, click it so that a yellow line appears around it. Then click the green button Finished.

Step 4: Now, ensure that you have the AXU asset tab visible on the upper left corner of the screen, with argentas.io and verified labels. There is a notification alerting that the market for the tokens is illiquid — this is normal for all tokens at this pre-distribution stage, as no active market has been developed, which will take place after the full distribution. In the upper left corner of the trade screen “Buy” should be highlighted in green — if not, click it to make sure you are placing a buy order.

Step 5: Just insert the amount of XLM you desire to use, e.g. 10000 in the field “Offer quantity XLM” (you see at the top of the screen, how many XLM you have available on your account for purchase). There is no need to touch any other field — the price per AXU is fixed at 0.4 AXU for 1 XLM for the pre-distribution stage (normally expected to be twice that level in the public distribution phase). You will see automatically the number of AXU you will receive, which is 2.5 AXU for every XLM spent, e.g. 25000 AXU for 10000 XLM (there is a tiny 0.15% transaction fee on the Stellarport exchange). Then, just click the big green Place buy button. When a confirmation popup “Create offer” appears, click Confirm. A green confirmation popup like one shown below will appear, indicating the number of AXU you have acquired. That’s it!

You are done! You are now member of our community and holder of AXU — on the way towards a true revolution of global finance! To verify your AXU balance, you may click the Wallet link in the top menu, and then the Balances link on the left. You will see your AXU balance on the screen like in the screenshot below, showing the number of AXU you have acquired.
